Pink belongs on your lips, cheeks, maybe your nails if you’re girly (us, totally us!) but never EVER your eyes, right? Wrong. Very wrong. We have to admit, past the highly experimental age of 7, the last place we’d be expecting to put any shade of pink is our eyes. But when you make pink look this bad-ass it’s kind of hard not to try it! Try out these 2 looks and tell us what you think!
Ombre Glossy Pink
What you’ll need Makeup forever Flash Palette using shades Coral and Fuschia; Mac Clear Lipglass; Maybelline Lash Sensational.
Eyes Using a small shadow brush and coral cream color from the Makeup Forever Flash Palette, create a half moon shape starting slightly above the crease of your eye and blending down towards your lash line. Using the same brush, apply a small amount of fuschia cream color starting at your lash line, diffusing into the coral color for an ombre effect. Use your ring finger to gently tap clear Lipglass on your lid. Quick tip: If you’re not into shelling out $15 for what is essentially a basic clear gloss, pick up a cheap dupe from brands like Nyx or NYC. Finish with a light coat of Maybeline Lash Sensational mascara.
Lips For that pretty pink pout, mix Mac Clear Lipglass with a little Fuschia cream color from Makeup Forever Flash palette and gently tap with your ring finger onto your lip. This easy trick will have you creating all the lip shades you couldn’t find in stores–and for a fraction of the price!
What you’ll need Milani Metallic Gel powder shadow in Bella Rouge; Mac Cosmetics Loose Pigment eyeshadow in Brash and Bold; NARS Smudge proof Eyeshadow Primer.
Eyes Using your shadow brush, place Bella Rouge color on your eyelid from lash line to crease. Using a blending shadow brush blend Brash & Bold color (the darker pink loose pigment) starting at the crease and diffusing to the brow bone. Take a small smudge brush and smudge a mix of the Bella Rouge and Brash & Bold colors, swiping in a back and forth motion at the bottom lash line to create this pink smokey look. Finish with three coats of Maybeline Lash Sensational mascara on your top and bottom lashes.
Lips Using your finger, tap Pat McGrath Labs Clear Vinyl Glossclear gloss on your lip.
And voila, a whole new meaning to pretty in pink!
