Spring is here and we’re having just about the toughest time keeping our credit cards in our wallets and our butts stuck to our office swivel chairs. It’s like clockwork, as soon as the flowers begin blooming and that soft spring breeze hits us, we robotically feel we need an entirely new wardrobe, preferably sponsored by one of those “Win $1,000 New Wardrobe” sweepstakes. And since we haven’t yet been lucky enough to win one of those, before we know it, our shopping bags are filled to the brim with crochet crop tops and teeny weeny distressed denim shorts, none of which ever seem to make it on the “Work Appropriate” list. Go figure.
So we thought, if we’re spending 40 hours of the week working in an office, it might be a good idea to divvy up some of those spring shopping funds to adding some stylish, work approved pieces that don’t get us sent home for indecent exposure. Yes, that happens. And no, we’re not mentioning any names. In salute to Spring and our jobs that enable us to shop until our little hearts are content, let’s say goodbye to dreaded “workwear” and check out some Spring looks that will launch you not only through the week but smooth sailing into the weekend.
